Signs of Being

Truckloads of food reached Stockton families.

Bread of Life organized a special Weber Square giveaway after a large frozen-food donation exceeded its available freezer space.

Food that exceeded one organization’s storage capacity was moved through a local network and reached families instead of being lost.

What is happening here

Volunteers moved frozen meat, produce, bread, and other groceries directly to residents through drive-through and walk-up lines, with local partners helping provide refrigerated transportation and temporary storage.

The fruit

Frozen meat, produce, bread, and other groceries reached residents.

Refrigerated transportation and temporary storage expanded what could be distributed.

A storage problem became a direct food distribution.
