Signs of Being

Floyd got the keys to his own apartment.

After decades of incarceration, Floyd Henley moved into a Stockton apartment with housing and rental support from Friends Outside while continuing college coursework and employment.

A person returning from decades of incarceration reached a home of his own while continuing work and education with local support.

What is happening here

Stocktonia documented Henley receiving the keys to his apartment, picking up furniture and supplies through Friends Outside, continuing his education, and working at a Stockton steel company. The outcome shows several parts of reentry coming together in one life: housing, work, education, and practical support.
